The final meeting of the Duke Red Blood Cell Transfusion Colloquium will take place Mon., Nov. 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Trent Semans Center.
Speakers for this month’s colloquium will be Ian Welsby, MD, associate Professor of anesthesiology, presenting “Squeaky clean – will washing blood avoid lung injury?", and Timothy McMahon, MD, PhD, association professor of medicine (Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine), presenting “Can we make stored red blood cells function better?”
