This year Dr. David Edelman, Professor of Medicine, is leading the “Works in Progress” (WIP) series. This Friday morning series launched July 21 and gives DGIM fellows and junior faculty opportunity to present their current work to their peers and to share ongoing studies, ideas, and grant proposals. The setting is one to stimulate improved collaboration, feedback on presentation skills to enhance success, and create community around research. On occasion, senior faculty are invited to critique and support these mentees. It’s anticipated that each member will have opportunity to give two presentations during the year.
