Emily Eichenberger, MD, a fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases, has received the Chair's Research Award for Trainee Projects from the Department of Medicine.
The Chair’s Research Award funds junior investigators in the Department of Medicine who are making the transition to becoming independent scientists and planning for their first extramural funding.
Dr. Eichenberger's project is "Molecular Epidemiology of Staphylococcus aureus Bacteremia in Transplant Patients."
