Faculty invited to become members of Duke AHEAD

Diana McNeill, MD, professor of medicine (Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition) and director of the School of Medicine’s new Academy for Health Professions Education and Academic Development (Duke AHEAD) invites faculty members to become members of the academy. Duke AHEADThe mission of Duke AHEAD is to promote excellence in the education of health professionals by creating a community of education scholars, fostering innovation in health professions education, supporting outstanding teachers, providing faculty development programs, and facilitating quality education research. "Membership will give Duke medical faculty access to a menu of ongoing education events, as well as opportunities to collaborate on projects that we expect will respond to the increasing use of teams in health care and creative teaching styles and methods," said McNeill.
