Corrine Voils, PhD, has recently accepted a position with University of Wisconsin Madison (UW Madison) and will begin there in January 2017. She will have an appointment at the Madison VAMC with a joint appointment as Professor with tenure in the Division of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Voils has been with Duke GIM and the Durham VA HSR&D since 2004, when she completed her postdoctoral fellowship. She is an acclaimed behavioral and health services researcher who has devoted her career to identifying the psychosocial variables associated with treatment adherence, developing theoretically informed self-management interventions, and measuring medication adherence.
We are sad to see her go, but wish her continued success in her future.
