Funding opp: CTSA KL2 call for applications

Reminder: Applications for the CTSA KL2 are due Fri., Nov. 22, 2013. The Duke CTSA Research Career Development Award Program (Duke CTSA KL2) is now accepting applications. The Duke CTSA KL2 will provide skilled and personalized mentoring, a coordinated and tailored scientific and career development curriculum, and the opportunity to conduct clinical or translational research. Three Scholars per year will be awarded a 3-year career development award, with 75% protected effort (total effort), $40,000/year for research expenses, and $2,500/year for travel. Although not required, a focus on research addressing health disparities and/or minority health will be considered a particular strength. Funding will start January 2014.
