Funding opp: Duke/Duke NUS GMS Research Collaborations - initial deadline 11.25.2011

The Duke University School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore (Duke-NUS)  have announced a call for proposals for collaborative research projects between faculty based in Durham with those based in Singapore.
The ultimate goal of this program is the development of international research teams that advance translational and clinical research, including research on medical technologies. Translational research is defined as research with an aim towards human application.
For each project, up to USD $250,000 per year for up to two years will be available to Duke faculty and an additional SGD $250,000 to Duke-NUS faculty. Faculty interested in submitting a proposal should submit  a one-to-two page letter describing the nature of the proposed project and the participating investigators from Duke and Duke-NUS by Fri., Nov. 25, 2011.
