The Office of Duke Kunshan University Programs and China Faculty Council are inviting proposals for the spring round of Education & Research Innovations in China (ERIC) grants.
ERIC grants provide pilot funding to Duke faculty interested in developing innovative education and research programming at Duke Kunshan University. Initiatives that demonstrate potential long-term impact and promote collaboration between Duke and Duke Kunshan University are especially encouraged.
Priority during this round will be given to projects related to the development of the four-year undergraduate degree at DKU. Awards will be up to $20,000; co-funding from other sources is welcome, as is faculty collaboration. In the past, grants have been awarded for coursework, workshops, professional training, conferences, and research programs. Examples can be found on the Duke Global website.
Proposals should be submitted prior by March 15, 2017, by emailing a PDF file to Irina Adams (irina.adams@duke.edu) at the Office of Duke Kunshan University Programs. Proposals will be reviewed by the China Faculty Council, with awards announced in mid-April.
