The Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise recognizes foreign-born artists and scientists who have demonstrated exceptional creativity and originality in the early stages of their careers. Applicants must not be more than 38 years old as of Jan. 1, 2014.
Six $35,000 prizes, three each in the fields of biomedical science and arts or humanities (this year the prize will be awarded in design), are awarded each year.
