Sarah Lisanby, MD, chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke, recently announced that Jane Gagliardi, MD, MHS, director of undergraduate medical education - Internal Medicine; residency training - Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and medicine, will assume the role of Vice Chair for Education and Program Training Director for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science's Residency Program.
Dr. Gagliardi's appointment follows a national search process that identified her as the outstanding candidate for the position, which is effective July 1, 2014.
