Goacher named to inaugural class of AASLD associate fellows

Elizabeth Goacher, PA-C, physician assistant in the Division of Gastroenterology has been named an Associate Fellow by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). This designation was created for members that epitomize excellence and contributions to AASLD and to the field of liver disease. 

The Associate Fellow of the AASLD - the highest distinction among the Associate member category by AASLD – recognizes distinguished professional achievement of advancing training, education and commitment to the highest level of hepatology care in clinical, research or academic practice.

It is awarded to advanced practice providers and other allied health professionals who have made a significant contribution to the knowledge and/or practice of liver diseases and is considered a leader in the field. Elizabeth is in the inaugural class of Associate Fellows
