Grand Rounds 12/5/2014: Morbidity and mortality discussion

Medicine Grand Rounds on Fri., Dec. 5 at 8 a.m. in Duke Hospital room 2002 will be a Morbidity & Mortality discussion: Hepatic Encephalopathy: Acute management, safety hazards, and communication. The M&M discussion will be led by Aaron Mitchell, MD, chief resident for quality and patient safety at the Durham VA Medical Center. Dr. Mitchell will be joined by Ann Brown, MD, MHS, associate professor of medicine (Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition) and vice dean for faculty, and Carl Berg, MD, professor of medicine (Gastroenterology) and medical director of Abdominal Transplantation. Dr. Berg also serves as president of the United Network for Organ Sharing. M&M discussions are open to Department of Medicine faculty and trainees only. This session will not be livestreamed or recorded.
