Grand Rounds 5/3/13: Harvard's Susan D. Block on assuring safe passage

Medicine Grand Rounds on Fri., May 3 at 8 a.m. in Duke Hospital room 2002 will feature Susan D. Block, MD, professor of medicine and psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and chair of the Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Block will present Assuring safe passage: Moving conversations about end-of-life care upstream. At the invitation of Jason Webb, MD, chief resident for the Durham VA Medical Center, Block is visiting Duke as the Greenfield Visiting Professor. Block is also co-director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care.
