Haynes receives AAI-Steinman Award for Human Immunology Research

Haynes, MD, professor of medicine and immunology and director of the Duke Human Vaccine Institute, received the AAI-Steinman Award for Human Immunology Research recently at the American Association of Immunologists Immunology 2013 conference in early May. The award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the understanding of immune processes underlying human disease pathogenesis, prevention or therapy. After receiving the award, Dr. Haynes presented "The Path to Development of an HIV-1 Vaccine."
