Heidi White contributes to journal issue on long-term care in North Carolina

Heidi White, MD, associate professor of medicine (Geriatrics), was invited contribute her expertise to the September/October issue of the North Carolina Medical Journal, which focuses on long-term care.
As the author of the issue brief, Dr. White identified key topics and authors both from Duke and across the state to contribute a very comprehensive and detailed framework regarding long-term care in North Carolina.
"The good news is that long-term care is receiving more and more attention from professionals, patients, and families," said Peter Morris, MD, the journal's editor-in-chief. "There are exciting options tailored to the specific and changing needs of older adults."
