Heidi White recognized for service to AMDA

Heidi White, MD, associate professor of medicine (Geriatrics) received the James Pattee Award for Excellence in Education from AMDA - Dedicated to Long Term Care Medicine, the professional association of medical directors, attending physicians, and others practicing in the long term care continuum. Dr. White was recognized for her work on AMDA's annual meeting program committee, for co-directing the Futures Program that provides a day of curriculum and brings geriatrics fellows and internal medicine/family medicine residents to the meeting to learn about long-term care practice, and her work developing competencies for post-acute and long-term care practice.
