Aim 1: to evaluate the impact of providing weekly, medically and culturally tailored food deliveries to African American/Black and LatinX patients diagnosed with high blood pressure. Food deliveries will be medically tailored based on the DASH diet and culturally tailored for participant food preferences. In addition, monthly workshops will be conducted to discuss food preparation. Change in systolic BP over 6 months is the primary outcome. Secondary outcomes include diastolic BP, adherence to BP medication and dose of BP medication. Aim 2: evaluate the participants intheculturallyandmedicallytailoredarmsatisfactionwiththeculturallyrelevantfoodprovided. Measuredbysurveyat multipletimepoints. Aim3willexamineprimaryendpointsdescribedinAim1acrossthreegroups,thosereceivingthe intervention, those receiving the food delivery only, and those not receiving any food delivered.
