Internal Medicine Residency News, Aug. 2nd, 2021

From the Director

Happy Monday everyone – July is now in the rear-view mirror, and we are ready for a great next month! Last week was a great family vacation!  Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more clear that the Delta variant is here and capable of causing (thankfully mild) infections in vaccinated people. Please keep up with reporting symptoms and getting evaluated when needed, being mindful of eating in crowded indoor spaces and also talking to your patients about getting vaccinated if they have not already done so. We will keep you updated on any new protocols or plans should they evolve.

Interns, we look forward to our upcoming half day retreat – stay tuned for more details. JARs, please be sure to check your schedules to see when you are scheduled for the In Training Exam. SARs, congratulations on your interviews – please keep us updated on when you will be interviewing (see instructions from our amazing chiefs).
