The Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) held their national conference this week in Washington, DC. During the event, George Jackson, PhD, was honored with the Article of the Year Award, which recognizes a single peer-reviewed publication related to the training and educational direction of future generations of PAs. The chosen article is entitled, Intermediate Diabetes Outcomes in Patients Managed by Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants: A Cohort Study, and was published in Annals of Internal Medicine in December of 2018 (e-published in November of 2018). Jackson was the first author.
