Make MedicineNews your home page

In just a few simple steps, you can have news from the Department of Medicine at your fingertips. Here’s how: For Internet Explorer
  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Click Tools, and then click Internet options.
  • Under the General tab, enter the Web address of your new home page (http://news.medicine.duke.edu) and then click Apply.
  • Restart Internet Explorer to see your new home page.
For Firefox
  • Open Firefox
  • Click the Tools menu and Options (or for Mac users, launch Firefox, then go to the menu bar, click Firefox, Preferences)
  • Under General, find Home Page and type the Web address of your new home page (http://news.medicine.duke.edu)
  • Click OK
  • Restart Firefox to see your new home page
For Google Chrome
  • Open Chrome
  • Click the Chrome menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen
  • Click Settings
  • Check the “Show Home button,” then click Change
  • Type the Web address of your new home page (http://news.medicine.duke.edu) next to the Open this page field
  • Click OK and restart Chrome to see your new home page
For Safari
  • Open Safari
  • Go to the menu bar and click Safari, Preferences
  • Under General, type the Web address of your new home page (http://news.medicine.duke.edu) next to the home page field
  • Close Preferences window and launch a new session of Safari
