Diana McNeill, MD, professor of medicine (Endocrinology, Nutrition and Metabolism), has been selected as a recipient of the 2013 American Diabetes Association's Patient Care Award. Dr. McNeill will be recognized at the 10th Annual Gala on Saturday.
The ADA Patient Care Award is awarded to individuals committed to providing outstanding patient care and education for persons with diabetes.
"Diana has spent her career providing excellent clinical care and management, patient and family education, and compassionate diabetes self-management support to patients and families with diabetes across the Duke Health Care System," said Mark Feinglos, MD, CM, chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition.
