The award, presented during the annual Student-Faculty Show, recognizes physician-teachers that the medical students feel have played an exceptionally effective and dedicated role in their education. This is the third year in a row the medical students have recognized Dr. Chudgar. He received the Golden Apple Award for Clinical Science Faculty in 2012 and the Thomas Kinney MD Distinguished Teaching Award in 2011. "I am extremely excited and humbled by the selection," Chudgar said. "I greatly appreciate the continued support of the Department of Medicine and the opportunity to teach our medical students and residents."
