Elizabeth McCamic has joined the Department of Medicine as Web editor and writer, working in the Chair's Office on the MedicineNews blog and our various department, division and program websites. The department's communication strategy has been to reflect – internally and publicly – as much of the activity, skills, interactions and successes of our faculty, trainees and staff. Elizabeth will help us execute this strategy faster and better. Elizabeth comes to Duke after spending three years at The Charlotte Observer, where she served as local arts editor. She has a background in writing, editing, design and multimedia, and her work has appeared in the Carolina Alumni Review, The Herald-Sun, The News & Observer and on The Story with Dick Gordon. She has a master's degree from UNC's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Please join us in welcoming Elizabeth to Duke and the Department of Medicine.
