Panel Discussion 2/4/2013: Healthcare Transformation in Southeast Asia

Duke-NUS is hosting a panel discussion on Healthcare Transformation in Southeast Asia on Mon., Feb. 4 in the Searle Center Conference Room. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and registration, and the panel discussion will take place from 6:15-8:15 p.m. and will be followed by a reception featuring Southeast Asian cuisine. Featured speakers include: Victor J. Dzau, MD, Chancellor for Health Affairs, Duke University. Dr. Dzau will serve as the introductory speaker and will discuss Healthcare Issues in Southeast Asia: What's in it for all of us? Ranga Krishnan, MD, ChB, Dean of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, will discuss Singapore, A Gateway to Southeast Asia, What Have We Learnt So Far? Edward Buckley, MD, Vice Dean for Education, will discuss Preparing The Next Generation of Global Physicians. Krishna Udayakumar, MD, MBA, Director of Duke Medicine Global, will discuss The Transformation of Healthcare in Southeast Asia and Why It Concerns Us.
