Powers to get ACP's Junior Investigator Recognition Award

UPDATE: Read about the award on the ACP Internest site. Dr. Powers will accept his award in person at the Internal Medicine 2012 meeting in New Orleans. He is assistant professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and a staff physician at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is being recognized for the article he authored within three years of completing his training. Measuring Blood Pressure for Decision Making and Quality Reporting: Where and How Many Measures? was published in the June 21, 2011 issue of Annals of Internal Medicine.
