The annual meeting for the Society of General Internal Medicine is just around the corner, taking place April 11-14, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. There will be a large Duke attendance, including several presentations by our faculty, residents, and medical students.
Speaking of acceptances, 4th year Internal Medicine Resident, Azalea Kim, MD, will deliver a plenary session about her "Advance Care Planning" work accomplished this year in the Duke Outpatient Clinic. Last week Dr. Kim practiced for this plenary session in front of several GIM faculty and co-residents. We are anxious for you to see the finished product!
Can't make it to the conference? Don't worry. We will be live tweeting from the event, so make sure to follow us on Twitter @Duke_GIM. And check back for a record of event highlights, photo galleries, and more!
