Sunil Rao, MD, associate professor of medicine (Cardiology), has been appointed to the VA Field Advisory Group for Cardiology. Field advisory groups in the VA typically consist of 6-12 experts who serve in an advisory role for VA in their approaches to care in their specialty.
"Dr. Rao will have an important impact on the national delivery of cardiology care," wrote Joe Rogers, MD, in the Division of Cardiology's weekly faculty newsletter.
