Register below to attend the Colloquium on Obesity and Metabolism Research at Duke (COMRAD), which will be held Fri., Oct. 25 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Trent Semans Center.
The goal of COMRAD is to develop collaborative, interdisciplinary research at Duke that will address major obesity-related public health issues by incorporating the full translational spectrum of research methods:
- Molecular, metabolomic, genetic mechanisms, using animal models and human biomarkers
- Discovery of new potential targets of therapy
- Development and testing of novel clinical interventions: pharmacologic, dietary, lifestyle, m-Health, e-Health, surgical
- Development and testing of novel systems interventions: health services, environmental, and policy
