The Medicine Research Conference returns Fri., Jan. 27 at 12 pm in Duke Hospital 2002 with presentations by Steve Choi, MD, assistant professor of medicine (Gastroenterology), and Anna Mae Diehl, MD, professor of medicine and chief of the Division of Gastroenterology.
- Dr. Choi's presentation will be Hedgehog Signaling: A New Target in Viral Hepatitis.
- Dr. Diehl's presentation will be Fixing Broken Livers, about the role of developmental morphogens as regulators of adult liver repair, emphasizing the relevance for cirrhosis and liver cancer.
