Pahresah Roomiany, MD, is this year's recipient of the Duke Regional Teaching Award. This accolade was voted on by the residents and given to a faculty member who best exemplifies commitment and excellence in teaching at Duke Regional Hospital.
The award was announced at the close of Duke Medicine Grand Rounds on June 14, 2019, by Winn Seay, MD, Chief Resident for Duke Regional Hospital and for Ambulatory Medicine. Roomiany is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the division of General Internal Medicine (GIM).
