The School of Medicine will hold the third annual Underrepresented in Medicine (URiM) family barbecue from 5-8 p.m. on Aug. 3 at Treyburn Country Club.
A family-friendly networking barbecue. Dinner, wine and beer will be served. There will be activities for the whole family, including a bounce house and face painting. Open to all Underrepresented in Medicine Faculty, Fellows, Residents, Medical Students and their families.
This event is hosted by Kevin Thomas, MD, Assistant Dean of Underrepresented Faculty Development, and Kim Evans, MD, Associate Vice Chair for Diversity, Chair, Minority Recruitment & Retention Committee in the Department of Medicine.
