SGIM 2018 recap + photo gallery

Wow! SGIM 2018 was an amazing submersion into what matters in general internal medicine. The theme for the annual meeting, which took place in Denver, Colorado this year, was Health IT: Empowering General Internists to Lead Digital Innovation.

Poster presentations, oral abstracts, plenary sessions, workshops, networking…they had it all going on! And Duke had a great presence of medical students, residents, and faculty, many with presentation acceptances! Besides so many informative sessions and presentations, we took time to relax for a lovely DGIM reception on Thursday evening, with delicious food and wonderful company. We are already looking forward to next year, the 2019 Annual Meeting, May 8-11, back in Washington, DC.
