Study by Navar and Rymer on open access platforms for clinical trial data accepted in JAMA

Research by cardiovascular diseases fellow Ann Marie Navar, MD, PhD, and Duke University Hospital Chief Resident for Internal Medicine Jennifer Rymer, MD, MBA, has been accepted in The Journal of the American Medical Association.

The article, "Use of Open Access Platforms for Clinical Trial Data," addresses concerns over bias in clinical trial reporting through an evaluation of how many clinical trials were publicly available to investigators through three open access platforms.

Dr. Rymer will continue her fellowship in cardiovascular diseases after her chief resident year.
