Triangle Health Innovation Challenge Mentoring Opportunity

Triangle Health Innovation Challenge is a health hackathon taking place on Sept. 18-20 in the Trent Semans Center. The event will bring together students, clinicians, developers, engineers, designers and others to tackle important challenges in healthcare over the course of 48 hours.

Triangle Health Innovation Challenge is looking for clinicians to join as mentors to help participants validate and refine their ideas. Mentors will be scheduled for 2-hours of “office hours” where they will meet with teams and provide feedback on their clinical problem statement, solution and pitch. Clinical/idea validation mentors are needed on Sat., Sept. 19, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., and practice pitch mentors are needed Sun., Sept. 20, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to provide teams feedback on their pitch presentations.  If you are interested helping the next generation of health innovators in the Triangle, signup at www.thincweekend.org/mentorsignup or email Tanmay Gokhale at tanmay.gokhale@dm.duke.edu for more information.
