Professor of Medicine, Corrine Voils, PhD, has been appointed as a Consulting Editor for Health Psychology. Her term begins January 1, 2017 and extends for two years.
“I am excited to work with the incoming editor for the next two years, shaping the future of this journal that is important in my field," says Voils.
Health Psychology is the official scientific publication of Division 38 of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Health Psychology. Health Psychology particularly emphasizes original research, reviews and meta-analyses, treatment outcome trials, and brief scientific reports, all part of Dr. Voils' skill-set.
We are proud that academic journals seek DGIM faculty, not only for manuscript submissions but to serve on editorial boards. Our researchers are chosen from the population of excellent reviewers, a compliment to Dr. Voils and others. The associated work is significant but there's also value for one's career, for visibility and increased knowledge in the field.
