Wang promoted to Associate Professor

We are proud to announce Virginia Wang, PhD, has been promoted to Associate Professor! 

Dr. Wang joined the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Durham VA Center for Health Services Research in 2010 after completing her post-doctoral fellowship. She has conducted a highly impactful platform of research which has elucidated important findings on the care of patients with chronic diseases such as chronic kidney disease. She has won significant funding for her research, including as Principal Investigator of both NIH and VA awards and she has successfully competed for a large VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiative center grant in the VA which will account for over $1,000,000 per year for the next 5 years. She has also published numerous peer-reviewed articles in top-tier health service research journals.
