Blair Glasgo, MD, is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed residency training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She was most recently a staff hospitalist at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas. Dr. Glasgo has joined the Durham VA as a hospitalist.
Christopher Jones, MD, MBA, HMDC, FAAHPM, graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. In 2015 he completed fellowship training in palliative care at Duke and after a hiatus with Penn Palliative Care returns now to join Duke Palliative Care.
Mary Elizabeth Koethe, MD, joins the Ambulatory Care practice at the Durham VA. She completed residency at UNC. After an undergraduate degree from Cornell she attended The Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine for her medical education.
Bolanle Mufuka, JD, MD, is a graduate of both UNC School of law and of medicine. This year she completed her residency training at UNC Hospitals and now joins DUH Hospital Medicine.
Michelle Santana, DO, achieved the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. This past summer, July 2020, she finished residency in internal medicine at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. Her appointment with DGIM is effective in October. She will join DUH Hospital Medicine.
Kevin White, MD, MPH, graduated from UNC School of Medicine and obtained the MPH also from UNC. This year Dr. White completed Med-Peds residency at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC, a site affiliated with the USCSOM. He joins DUH Hospital Medicine.
Yiran Yang, MD, PhD, is a graduate of the Medical College of Wuhan University and completed medicine residency training in 2017 at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. Most recently he was a hospitalist at Phelps Hospital of Northwell Health in Tarrytown, NY. Dr. Yang joins DUH Hospital Medicine.
