Dr. Liz Petzold is a Research Scientist and Program Manager for the Center for Infectious Disease Diagnostic Innovation. She received her PhD from the University of Manchester, UK, and completed postdoctoral training at Duke University. She has worked in clinical research in academia and industry for over 20 years. She brings extensive experience in developing and managing complex clinical and translational research projects in infectious diseases and device development, both in the US and globally. She has a particular interest in improving access to diagnostics and understanding infectious diseases in the homeless community.
