About the Duke Program

What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was interested in going to a program that had strong internal medicine training, provided pathways/electives for me to use my MBA and to be close to home.

What are your observations about the relationships between faculty and house staff?
Everyone is super supportive and wants the best for you. I have been asked by various attending what my goals were once done with residency and they immediately would give me names of people to connect with, saying they personally would introduce me. The faculty really want you to thrive and succeed.

About Duke University and Durham

What is the best thing about living in Durham and the Triangle?
Coming from D.C I love the no traffic, and being able to find ample parking. I am an outdoorsy person and Durham is full of trails and places to just take a stroll.
