What are your career goals?
I'm interested in pursuing a career in academic nephrology. I also love medical education and scholarship.

What were you looking for in a fellowship program?
I was looking for a program with leadership that supports me as person, while training me to become the best all-around nephrologist. I wanted a program that allows flexibility in its curriculum, and tailor my training based on evolving career goals. Finally, I was looking for a program with passionate, curious, and fun fellows!

Which Scholar pathway will you choose and why?
I plan to join the Medical Education Pathway as of now. However, I plan to use my first year to help me decide if other pathways are right for me, such as the glomerular pathway, palliative pathway, or home dialysis pathway.

What are the strengths of the Duke program?
The leadership is the reason I choose Duke Nephrology. They care about me as an individual, support my personal career goals, and are continuously seeking fellow feedback. It’s also easy to find genuine mentors who are at the cutting of edge of clinical practice, research, and education. Finally, I couldn’t have asked for a better group of co-fellows.
