The division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) announces the 8th annual Excellence Awards to honor the outstanding achievements of our division's faculty and staff members in clinical care, education, research, implementation, and professionalism. This year, we added two new award categories!

Nominations should consist of a letter of nomination outlining the candidate’s contributions, written by another Duke faculty, trainee, student or staff member who is familiar with these contributions. Nominations will be reviewed by the GIM awards committee who will present their choices to the Interim Division Chief for final approval.

The award winners will be announced by the Interim Division Chief at our first annual Proud to Be GIM Celebration event on October 26, 2023. More information on the event will be coming soon!
