From the Director
Happy 2023 to all! Many thanks to everyone for your work over the holiday time and I hope you were also able to enjoy your time with family and friends.
Lots happening now that we shift into the second half of the year. Please see the emails from our stellar ambulatory crew (Drs. Zipkin and Harris) regarding the feedback inspired changes of morning report to an intern academic half day as well as the in-clinic administrative time. For other happenings, please make sure you have turned in your rising-JAR and rising-SAR schedule requests (reach out to me, APDs or chiefs with any questions) and sign up for your mid-year meeting with me or Dr Hargett if you have not done so already!
GET READY FOR THE THIRD ANNUAL DUKE IT OUT on WED JAN 11 at NOON! Come cheer on your super-SARS Harsh Patolia, Sukrit Jain, and Komal Safdar as they duke it out to see who takes home the best chalk talk prize! And a big early thank you to Kelly Flynn, Callie Lillie and Jackie Kercheval for their hard work putting this together.
Congratulations to Carter Devlin on your wedding this past weekend!
We will soon be sending out details about FUN-bruary so stay tuned for that. During February, Dr. Hargett and I will also have the “Intro to Fellowship Application Process” meetings for those applying … dates TBD.
