From the Director
JULY IS HERE! Major kudos to our amazing administrative team of Emily, Lynsey, Bridget, Kayla, Vashyra and Tyesha for their incredible work putting together orientation activites and to our chiefs for ushering in the new year! Kudos of course to Ben Berger for his legendary noon conference as well!
We are so excited to have our new teams starting. I’ve already heard such great things about everyone in their new roles. Noon conference attendance is robust and the snack baskets are full. Fellowship applications are getting uploaded this week – what a milestone!
Congratulations to our newest resco reps: Mark Brahier, Yemi Olubowale, Alison Smith, Auston Stiefer, Matt Pisarcik, Dan Weinberg, Hannah Schwennesen, Karen Lin and Chris Luccarelli. Intern reps will be elected soon!
Also congratulations to Sandra and Dan Loriaux on the birth of Penelope! All are doing well.
Kudos
Kudos this week to Melissa Cutshaw from Adriana Bracho for welcoming the interns in style with cupcakes, to Mark Brahier from all of us for getting the patagonias delivered, to Michael Dagher from Karen Young for being a great work buddy on 7800, to Liz Kobe from Nicole Dussault for excellent work on VA GM, to Karen Lin, Nandita Singh and Zach Silver for being the best NF crew (from Sarah Morgan), to Hiwot Abate and Michael Dagher from Keke Liu for helping him out in the MICU, to Averie Dickinson and Reeti Gulati for crushing the first night at the VA from Alison Smith and Valeria Maldanado, and to Alison Herzfeld for her Vascath skills from Dennis Narcisse.
