The Program for Women in Internal Medicine is excited to continue our Conversation Series where we discuss issues pertinent to training and careers in academic medicine. Our next event features Dr. Aimee Zaas, Professor of Medicine and Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency, and Dr. Suchita Shah Sata, Associate Professor of Medicine and hospitalist at Duke, as discussants on the article attached, "Stereotype Threat and Gender Bias in Internal Medicine Residency: It is Still Hard to be in Charge" (JGIM 2023 Nov). This important topic is relevant to all of us in the Department of Medicine as we remain mindful of the culture we create for our trainees and faculty.
