Five Department of Medicine faculty members have been chosen for the Chancellor's Clinical Leadership in Academic Medicine Program's 2013 class. CCHAMP is a six-and-a-half-day program delivered over six months to provide education and training that strengthens the pipeline for Duke Medicine's next round of leaders and supports the institution and its culture through engagement and innovation.
The 2013 class members from the Department are:
Susan Gurley, MD, assistant professor of medicine (Nephrology)
Leonor Corsino, MD, MHS, assistant professor of medicine (Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition)
Camille Frazier-Mills, MD, MHS, assistant professor of medicine (Cardiology)
Annie Nedrow, MD, associate director, Duke Integrative Medicine and consulting associate in the Department of Medicine
Hope Uronis, MD, MHS, assistant professor of medicine (Oncology)
Participants in CCHAMP work in small groups to study an issue faced by Duke Medicine and finish with a presentation that proposes a health system course of action. The 2013 session will end in July.
