Duke Hospital Medicine has announced the recipients of this year's Clinical Innovation Awards. These awards were established in Spring 2018 to help identify the next wave of hospital medicine faculty-led clinical innovation projects delivering effective, equitable, safe, high value, and patient/family-centered care for our patients and their loved ones. This year's recipients were Noel Ivey, MD and Stephen Telloni, MD.
Dr. Noel Ivey will be evaluating provider burnout and implementing interventions to promote wellness and resiliency that builds on her current work as wellness ambassador for the Duke Hospital Medicine program.
Dr. Stephen Telloni will be helping to lead implementation and evaluation of a pilot program to improve mobility among the hospitalized general medicine patients wurge rge use of mobility aides.
