2024-2025 Department of Internal Medicine AppleSeed Resident Teaching Awards Committee founded in 2008 by Duke medical students.

• Dedicated to recognizing, appreciating, and honoring residents who demonstrated outstanding pedagogy and mentorship to second-year medical students during clinical rotations.

• Awardees selected by democratic voting process: 
– At end of each clerkship, each student nominates up to two interns and two PGY-2+ residents.
• Awards given annually to less than 10% of Duke residents in the departments of Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Neurology, and Psychiatry
