The annual Duke GIM Wine & Cheese event is just around the corner, taking place this Wednesday, September 20 from 4:30 - 6 PM in the Great Hall inside the Trent Semans Center. Contact GIM Program DIrector, Megan Churchill, to RSVP if you haven't already.
Here are 5 things you can expect at this year's event:
5. Delicious food and drinks
I mean, it is called the "Wine and Cheese" event for a reason, but there will also be lots of other delicious eats and treats.
4. Socializing
This is an event to kick back, relax, and enjoy some time with colleagues and, perhaps even meet someone new.
3. Residents
We are excited to announce that we have invited our Internal Medicine residents to join in on the fun with us this year! A couple of them will even be presenting posters.
2. Posters
With such a large division, it is always exciting to see some of the amazing research and case studies that are taking place. We have all kinds of different posters that will be presented by both our faculty and residents.
1. Awards
That's right! We'll be announcing the winners for our 2nd annual Excellence Awards! You definitely won't want to miss that, do you?
