The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is sponsoring a workshop on Department of Defense funding from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tues., Sept. 30 in Duke South Clinic Amphitheater. Lunch will be provided.
The aim of the workshop is to demystify the DoD and offer practical guidance on how to frame your research in a DoD context, build relationships with Program Officers, and go after funding.
Former DARPA Program Managers, successfully funded Duke researchers, and other experts will share their experiences on working with DoD and answer your questions.
The workshop is open to all Duke campus and SOM faculty and research development staff (limited spots for postdocs are available).
This is expected to be a popular workshop, so be sure to register early. Registration will be capped at 100 attendees.
