By etm18@dhe.duke.edu
Mary Klotman, MD, chair of the department, Aimee Zaas, MD, MHS, program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and David Simel, MD, vice chair for Veterans Affairs, have announced the Chief Residents for the 2014-15 academic year.
The chief resident positions represent the single largest investment in leadership by the Department of Medicine, and we are proud to partner with the Durham VA Medical Center and Duke Regional Hospital in this important endeavor. The chief residents keep the program running smoothly, are key role models for the residents and students, serve as general medicine and clinic attendings and help us recruit outstanding new residents.
